My vehicle broke down, what procedure must be followed?
Check your Limits of Indemnity schedule to determine that the cause of breakdown and parts are covered. If covered, contact our Claims Department on
0860 267 267 who will advise you what the next steps are. You must ensure that no repair work is done until the Claims Department has given authorisation for the repair work to be carried out.
For repairs, where do I take my vehicle?
You may take your vehicle to any VAT registered repair facility.
What is covered under my policy?
Please refer to the section in your booklet "Parts Covered" where you will see a detailed list of the covered parts. If a part is not listed, then it is not covered under your policy.
What is not covered under my policy?
Please refer to the section in your booklet "Exclusion from Cover"
What amount will be paid in the event of a valid claim?
The maximum amount payable shall not exceed the applicable limit of your cover or the actual cost of repairs if the repair cost is a lesser amount than the limit of cover.
What are the service requirements for my vehicle?
Your vehicle must be serviced and maintained according to the Manufacturer's specifications and recommended intervals. You must keep your service receipts and invoices as proof as the Claims Administrator may require it in the event of a claim.
May I cancel my policy?
Should you wish to cancel your policy you are required to advise us in writing. If a claim has been paid under the policy there will be no refund due. If a refund is due, commissions and costs are deducted from the premium, which is paid out on a pro-rata basis dependent on the unexpired period of the policy. In the event that your policy was financed, the refund will be paid to the finance house.
May I transfer my policy?
A written request must be submitted to the Administrator for approval of the transfer.
The policy may not be transferred from one vehicle to another.
Only a valid policy with an up to date service record may be transferred.
